Producer, Josh Wick, director, Devin E. Haqq, and cinematographer, Kevin Craig West, have teamed up again to bring you the feature film, UWAKI, based on the screenplay by Devin E. Haqq. This will be the second feature length project to come from this production team. Their last film, THE ASSASSIN (2007), which was based on the screenplay by Devin E. Haqq and Josh Wick, was selected to participate in the 2006 IFP – NY Rough Cut Lab. THE ASSASSIN (2007) played for enthusiastic audiences at the 2007 Lake Placid Film Forum, the 2007 Urbanworld VIBE Film Festival, the 2008 Pan African Film Festival, and the 2008 Nashville Film Festival.

This latest endeavor, UWAKI, tells a story that is quite real and equally personal, which generates an inherent sense of honesty most people will find compelling. It’s a story within a genre that is timeless, exploring a multi-layered subject matter that always manages to pique the curiosity of the public. Finally, with an innovative marketing approach, UWAKI hopes to capitalize on new trends in the industry and tap into the vast potential of the Asian market.
